Our Mission...   
   In accordance with Mount Clemens Charter 10.135(b), this summary serves as notice that the City of Mount Clemens, Michigan has adopted the Mount Clemens Historic District Prdinance. This Ordinance was adopted under the enabling authority of the Local Historic District Act, Public Act. MCL 399.201. The purpose of this Ordinance is to 1) Safeguard the heritage of the city by preserving establishing one (1) or more historic districts in the city that reflect elements of the city's history, architecture, archaelogy, engineering or culture; 2) Stbilize and improve property values in each district and surrounding areas; 3) Foster civic beauty; 4) Strengthen the local economy; and 5) Promote the use of historic distrcts for the education, pleasure and welfare of the citizens of the city and state. Printed copies of the full text of the ordinance are available for inspection by, and distribution to, the public, at the ofices of Mount Clements City Clerk. Our Mission
