   When asked why he is on the commission, Patrick states, "I believe the historic past of Mt Clemens differentiates it from the surrounding communities. It is essential to preserve this past."

What do you see as the purpose/goals of the commission?
   Simply stated Patrick feels the purpose of the commission is to "encourage the historic past of our city."
