Years in the Commission

   Dwain joined the Mount Clemens Historical Commission in 2006.

Residency information (# of years, etc.)
   Dwain is a lifelong resident of Mount Clemens.

Background info you would like included
   Dwain is a Mount Clemens High School graduate with an Associates degree from Macomb Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University. He previously taught social studies and Michigan history at the Clintondale Middle School.

Why are you on the commission?
   When asked this question, Dwain responded, “I have always been interested in history in general and Michigan history in particular. I would like to contribute to the preservation and education of our heritage.

What do you see as the purpose/goals of the commission
   According to Dwain, the purpose of our commission is “to preserve the remaining historical structures in the city of Mount Clemens and to help preserve our unique history through oral interviews and writings.”
